For Facebook and Windows Live.. Quit Safari.
Open Keychain Access (Applications / Utilities). Select Passwords on the left.
Delete the Facebook and Windows Live by selecting the file then from the Keychain Access Menu Bar click: Edit / Delete. Quit Keychain Access.
Launch Safari. From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Preferences - Autofill. Make sure Usernames and Passwords is checked.
Go to Facebook and logon. You wil be asked to save your login info, click Always Allow. Do the same for Windows Live.
Safari and proxies do not get along. If you can do without it..
And try maintenance when Safari misbehaves.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that..
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.
Also, if you are running Safari in 64 bit mode, try running in 32-bit mode instead.
