Dual Core Mac Ableton

Dec 09, 2019 The 16-inch model starts with a 2.6GHz 6-core Intel Core i7 processor, or you can go up to 2.3GHz 8-core Intel Core i9 processor. If you just want good performance and only plan on doing minimal processor-intensive work, then you want a 13-inch MacBook Pro. Greetings to the community, In the past, i made a thread here about deciding which Macbook to pick between MBA and MBP. Everyone advised going for the MBP so now i am in need of feedback about how Ableton performs on MBP with dual-core early 2015 i5 2.7ghz MBP and if it woud benefit more picking an older model dual-core i7(13-inch i7s are dual-core as i recall). Jan 31, 2020  If you make music on a computer, your DAW - or Digital Audio Workstation, to give it its full name - is the most important tool in your creative arsenal.Yes, you’ll likely have a MIDI keyboard, audio interface, set of studio monitor speakers and possibly a microphone or two in your home recording setup as well, but your music production software sits at the centre of everything.

The CORE Station features a modular design that accommodates multiple configurations. Standard included components allow for single setup with a centered MTi2 or a dual setup housing two MTi2’s. A 3rd configuration allows the user to pair a single MTi2 with a four rack space accessory panel which will be sold separately. I have a 4 year old MacBook that is starting to mess up with big ableton projects (lots of effects on each track, etc). I am upgrading and deciding between the i5 dual core and i7 quad core mbp. I just bought a house and money is tight, so I want to know if the quad will make a big difference in how smoothly ableton runs. I'm just getting into Ableton and I have a 2014 Mac Mini and I'm curious if Ableton Live 10 will run well on it. Mac Specs: 2.8GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5. 1TB Fusion Drive. I plan to use Ableton primarily as a Virtual Instrument platform, but would also like to do some demo recording with it using a Scarlett 2i4 interface.

Technical support

Need help with setting up or other technical issues?

Ok, I *know* I will probably notice the difference somehow, but how will it be obvious in terms of music making? Will I notice it in Ableton Live (more plug-ins?)? Will I notice it if I run several applications at once? etc.
The reason I ask, is that I want to upgrade from my two year old MacBook Pro.

Dual Core Mac Ableton 4

I am considering the 13' MBP with 2.9GHz (dual core), or the 15' 2.3GHz MBP (quad core). I really like the smaller form factor and weight of the 13', but, of course, I have seen the Geekbench benchmarks for the 15' (about 11.000, vs. the 8.000 of the 13' MBP).Dual Core Mac Ableton
There is also a price difference - 13' is quite a bit cheaper. I already have a very nice Crucial M4 SSD, which will be transferred from my old Mac to the new Mac, so that will take care of disk speeds.
Any input?
